This package allows for Distance Field Font rendering. Distance field fonts allows for much smoother scaling, and for effects such as single pass outline rendering - with custom border thickness. Thicker borders are a desirable effect but usually cause severe slowdown, which this method doesn't suffer from.
This package also demos multiple fonts, colouring, scaling and rotation and works cross platform, including mobile and HTML5.
This package uses the output from a website which easily generates these fonts (with different sizes/fonts), which can be found here
Added newline and linefeed detection and usage, and updated font_width() to also allows for these. Cleaned up the code and put a little error detection in for characters out of range. renamed the shader to something that's not likely to clash with anything else which would cause an import issue. removed the fps + associated font.
