Description

Peeker is an object that allows you to peek at a instance variable value while the game is running. It displays the variable name and the value of the variable and updates each frame. It's a very simple object that is useful for debugging.

Warning: oPeek uses the Object Variables feature introduced in GMS 2.1.3. It will not work with earlier versions of GMS.

Instructions:

  1. Import at least oPeek and sDebug.
  2. Drag oPeek into the room.
  3. Double click the oPeek instance and set the three Object Variables.
  4. Run the game.

The three variables are self-explanatory.

  1. instance_name
  2. variable_name
  3. color
