This Main Menu is a simply made menu that uses objects along with the mouse/cursor for menu movement and interaction. The menu is very easy to customize and you should have no troubles making it fill your needs. It is very easy to follow and the code is very simple and well documented, it is perfect for beginners or for someone who just wants a simple menu, which is easy to customize.

Hello, and thank you for the review. While there is indeed a build-in variable for this, and you could do what you said for asking for a room or anything really, it is just a personal preference of mine to do things along the lines of how I did it, I tend to stick away from built-in variables when I can as I just find ones I create easier to remember as I can make them for the task needed. And with your second part of doing for example, "cursor_sprite = SpriteName;" I just again, personally don't use that system, however, with everything you said, you are completely right and you could use what you said and still have a well working, functioning menu.
