This asset includes a highly-configurable and customizable console for live debugging at runtime. The console offers the ability to manipulate object instances, but it can also be easily extended by custom-commands.

  1. Toggleable ingame-console
  2. Command-interpreter (with support for command nesting)
  3. Easily expandable through custom commands
  4. Auto-type conversion/checking and support of optional parameters
  5. Out of the box support for instance manipulation (create, destroy, event, properties)

A logger-system, which offers the possibility to distribute log messages to different dedicated loggers, is also part of this package.

  1. Define different loggers for different tasks
  2. Loggers are customizable
  3. Supports four log-levels: TRACE, INFO, WARN and ERROR
  4. Message-Filtering
  5. Supports logging of arrays and all (ds_) datastructures

NOT for newbies, needs better documentation

I appreciate the effort; most command extensions are made for GMS1, have incompatibilities with GMS2, or are just broken. I just wish I could SEE the effort. I'm not a very adept developer and documentation really helps me! This, unfortunately, contains none. There aren't even a whole lot of code comments to make up for that fact, either. To make matters worse, the demo room isn't even properly put together! There's a ton of objects and sprites, but the room given is the blank default you get with every new GMS2 project and uses none of those.

If you know a lot of GMS, this might be handy for you. If you like getting things on sale for free, it might be worth checking out. Otherwise, I wouldn't really check this one out until the issues preventing a less adept user like me from using it are ironed out.
