Everybody loves GMS sandbox. We all know, what a clever move YoYo did, when restricted filesystem on Windows. Even though I can't help but dance in happiness because of this fact, sometimes I actually need full filesystem support. And so, here we go, time to kill sandbox once and for all (and for free).

My dll supports:

  • Copying and deleting files.

  • Creating and deleting directories.

  • Returning list of files or directories at given address.

  • Returning directory of executable.

  • Cyrillic and other fanceh characters.

End User Licence Agreement (EULA).

Changes in 1.1.0

sc_dirDelete() now deletes not-empty directories.

Very useful and simple to use

Not much to say, it removes sandboxing. Does what it says.

This plugin does not work in special variable

This plugin does not work in windows environment variables like %appdata% and %localappdata%.
The plugin does not work when I use working_directory instead of %localappdata%, too.

No idea what you're talking about. I've just tested – everything works. Can you send me the code?

Well done!

If anyone wants to use Windows environment variables, I recommend this function I just found out about (which works with this extension quite nicely for me):

working_directory is also working for me. I have no complaints!

Source code

Will you please do such a smart move so I can't help myself but dance in happiness and release source code to dll?
Thanks bro!
