OUTDATED: This is no longer supported and seems to cause issues with the OS so I do not recommend using it. Use at your own risk.

A very simple DLL that lets you drag multiple folders and/or files into the game window. Only two functions are needed to use this extension.

This extension doesn't import anything. It only returns the paths of any folders/files dropped into the window.

This is a WINDOWS ONLY extension for Gamemaker Studio and Gamemaker Studio 2.

You need the Visual Studio 2015 redistributable installed on your machine for this extension to work. Which also means you need to release the redistributable with your application/game.

Works but there seam to be one issue

It works however after starting the game a few times in a row the social even doesnt trigger anymore even though the + sign on the mouse still say its drag and drop able (and thats not all basic windows functions such as rename a file will not work untill you restart the computer) tried install visual C++ 2015 redistributable. including 2017 and 2012 version still the same issue. windows 7-windows 10 (tested) most likely a bug somewhere since i tested it on many computers.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

I haven't found anything else in the marketplace that will allow users to load multiple files at once and being drag and drop it couldn't be simpler! (note, this extension doesn't load file, it just gives the location so something like FMNS is needed to actually load the files)

It requires visual C++ 2015 redistributable.
I chatted with the creator of this extension, to figure out the some issues around dependencies and he's a good guy, got the whole thing sorted out!

Thanks for the new review and also for helping me figure out the problem! I've updated the front page to inform future users that it's needed.
