NOTE THAT SPINE ANIMATIONS IS A PRO-FEATURE IN GAMEMAKER!
GameMaker's integration of Spine animations (skeletal animations) is nice, but they are missing out on one big feature: Spine's "events". http://en.esotericsoftware.com/spine-events
This asset allows you to have this feature, and it is simple to use too! All you need is these four scripts: - spine_events_init(); - spine_events_add_json(sprite in gamemaker, json file); - spine_events_listen_for(event); - spine_events_free();
For this to work, you will need to have a copy of your skeletal sprites' json files in your "included files" as well (just those of which you want to read events from).

Does what Gamemaker Should Already Do
This asset makes it so much easier to use Spine in gamemaker as you can actually use the events you set in Spine pretty well.
