In this special installment of "How Did They Do That: RTS", instead of focusing on a particular game to demonstrate construction purposes, this particular project / tutorial focuses on an entire genre. RTS stands for "Real Time Strategy". These are games akin to Age of Empires, StarCraft and Command & Conquer. Real Time Strategy means that you control many units in real time against an opponent. Strategy is often the component of managing proper resources and building of armies to successfully destroy the opposition.

More than a solid foundation for making a RTS!
I only checked out the example room and its functionality, will get down deeper into the scripts to understand what is going on ;)
This projects gives all the educational basics to RTS game mechanics. Would love to see a part 2 on advanced RTS HUD and extended Ai. :)
