hmmm DND not GML sighs...
In retrospect I wish this was done in GML(Game maker language) vs DND(Drag and Drop), one would learn so much more. I was jumping in to see if there was anything that this may add to help me with a hurdle I am faced with in my shootdemup game but we shall see. Aside from that I believe this is alright.
Actually you will find it is a mix. If you go to the step events there will be a code script in most objects.

I am still learning more about gamemaker and this helped a lot especially for what I was aiming off.
Really glad to hear that! I'll hopefully get round to adding updates soon and also shifting this to GMS2.0 will benefit new users of Gamemaker!
This engine is designed very well and it is easy to use. The touch controls are great and the procedural spawning system is excellent. If you want to make a shmup-style game with a procedural spawning system, then I recommend this engine, especially if you are developing your game for mobile devices.
