Have you ever wanted to make a text-based game like a dating simulator? If so, you may have noticed it is really a time consuming thing, mainly because of all the overhead involved. When you play a game like a dating simulator, you may notice that everything happens one thing at a time. Since everything happens one by one, why deal with constantly running code? It can get hard to control. This is what the Choice Engine fixes!!!

Choices Engine is the most revolutionary visual novel engine, making visual novel development easier than pre-built engines; all designed to allow literally anyone no matter the coding expedience to make a visual novel like a dating simulator.

What does Choices Engine bring to the table?

The easiest way to make a game. Everything is done through scripts. Unlike other systems where you program it all at once, this is much more organised.

What kind of features should I expect?

All of the industry standards. Text input, choice boxes, shop boxes, fade effects, and more. The only thing you need to do is make a story and some graphics. All the backend was done from scratch, so you don't need to credit anyone either.

Assets have a bad reputation with documentation. How do I know this is better?

With the Choices Engine, there is no grey area. The manual documents every function, version, and every way it works. You can actually download the manual online to see if it's up to your standards. Just refer to the links below.

Some extra stuff to help make up your mind: The manual (32 page pdf).

The example for this engine can be found here.
