An extension that allows you to access, display, and play the music library on Android devices within GameMaker projects.
This allows for easy creation of music player apps, as well as letting players listen to their own music while playing, without leaving the game.
Includes basic demo
This asset also comes with a simple demo which demonstrates the functions above. This includes displaying all songs (along with the artist) on the screen, playing each song, skipping and going back, pausing, stopping and navigating to a particular song.
Please note the demo is only basic and visual results may vary depending on how many songs you have and if they have long names etc. Additionally, there is no need to manually call the init and final methods, these are called automatically by GameMaker.
Use the "Contact Publisher" button above if you have any issues, or need to report a bug, and I will get it fixed as soon as possible.
I'm planning on adding additional functionality, such as searching for tracks and getting the track total time/elapsed time. Buy now at this reduced price and you'll get the updates for free!

Windows version? I'm trying to make a music player for windows too. Plus what directory does the app look at to find the music and how would I change that?
Great extension, it works nice!
Thanks for writing this extension, and to those who couldn't get it to work just make sure in global game settings > Android > permissions tab that you have write external checked
For those who do not work with them just makes the game compiled APK :)
Can not show music files
I have Moto G.
It does not show anything from devices music folder.
Does not Work
Is LG G3 don't work and I have music.mp3 and wav .
Try to fix please
What device are you using? As long as they're MP3's in the music folder on your phone, it will work... tested on a Nexus 7 and Samsung galaxy S3.
