The quickest way to add water with reflections in your platformer game!
It's as easy as dropping an object into a room, as seen in the second GIF above.
Available for both GMS 1.x and 2.x.
If you're looking for top-down water, check this out.
The reflection and refraction shaders can be customized simply by changing some variables. The reflection opacity can be reduced to allow the water to be translucent.
The water is an object.
By default, draw_sprite() calls will not be reflected; only object sprites are reflected
Vector & skeletal (Spine) graphics not supported.

Working with cameras?
Working fine, but when creating and placing camera on room it doesn't work anymore. Any hint on how to fix this?

Please contact me, I'll try my best to help you out.
It does not work.
If I place this object it my room, aplication surface dissapears.
Trying to debug this thing.
update: well, it might be because of recent gms2 update, digging into it.
Still this asset does not work.

Looks great but optimization?
The reflection looks great! But...
I really need help on optimizing this. Major frame drops....
I am aiming for implementing this to mobile build.

Awesome
Looks amazing. Fairly easy to understand as well. I'm a bit concerned about optimization though - can I disable the reflection part and only use the distortion part somehow?
