Do you want a basic customizable minimap for your RTS or RPG (top down) game, or iso metric game. The this is the perfect starting point.
MAIN feature: Uses surface instead of views, which make customisation with effects much easier. Also prevents movement bugs, with mouse when using views. Easy to expand on, just drop the object in your game room. Easy coordinate placement with global, on GUI layer. Since it is GUI layer, scaling should be easy.
